Another legendary shot from #PHTalks Jakarta — keeping this as a tradition for every next con! Unbelievable — 370+ attendees, a record for all past talks. And this photo shows just a part of them.

A free, community-driven cybersecurity conference where real hackers share what they've built, broken, and learned. No marketing, no nonsense. Brutally honest — just the way it should be.

निःशुल्क कार्यक्रम। अंग्रेज़ी में। हिंदी में लाइव अनुवाद उपलब्ध।
Free event. In English. Live Hindi translation available.
Bug bounty, pentest, red team, OSINT. Real techniques, not theory.
Real cases — and how the vulns were actually found.
Grill the speakers. Answers you won't get from a blog.
Meet people who actually break things. No badge-scanning.
Less talk, more demo: live exploits, real tooling, techniques that actually land, not forty slides of theory. Offense-first — pentest, red team, exploit dev, vuln research, bug hunting; blue teaming only where it crosses into red. Up to 40 minutes with Q&A, in English.
To Be Announced Soon
We put each stop together in one to two months, so speakers keep joining until close to the day. For a sense of the line-up to expect, see who took the stage at our previous stops.
Local hackers sharing a tool, a finding, or a hot take — 10 minutes each. Community-run, no travel perks: pitch yours through the CFP and pick Community stand-up as the session type.

Community-run spaces at the venue, open all day: something to do between the talks, not more slides.
Run a corner of the venue for the whole day: hands-on activities, demos, challenges, anything that gets people doing rather than listening. A hardware hacking bench, a lockpicking table, an OSINT quest, a bug bounty clinic: if your community runs something like that, bring it to Goa.
Community-run: villages come without speaker perks. Apply through the CFP and pick Village as the session type.
We are always glad to make friends with non-profit communities that run on the same values we do — open, grassroots, in it for the people who show up. Nothing to buy and nothing to sign: bring your people, we bring ours.

Registration is open. Fill in the form to apply for a seat.
This is a hacker conference for the security community: pentesters, red teamers, bug hunters, researchers and the people who build the defences, plus students and newcomers to the field.
Seats are limited and every application is read by a person. The day is made by practitioners for practitioners, so seats go to people who do security hands-on or are seriously learning it, rather than to sales and business development.
Already applied?
Follow your application on the status page or in our Telegram bot: both open with the personal link from your receipt email. Lost it? Ask either one, and we email it to you again.
Yes. The room is a mix of pentesters, red teamers, bug hunters and researchers — plus students and people who are one year in. Tell us what you work on or what you're learning; that's what we read.
Participation is free. We also support our speakers: speakers based in Goa get their taxi fare to and from the venue, and speakers coming from anywhere else, another city in India or another country, get travel to Goa and back plus accommodation. Every speaker also gets a PHT swag pack and an invitation to the speaker party.
Apply in advance with the form on this page as an attendee, or apply as a speaker: applications are not taken at the venue. Once you apply, we email you a receipt with your personal link to the status page and the Telegram bot. Seats are limited, so every seat goes out as a personal invitation by email: keep an eye on your inbox and your spam folder.
First with a receipt: within a few minutes of applying, we email you your personal link to the status page and the Telegram bot. Then with the decision: every application is read by a person, and we email you the answer, whatever it is, well in advance of the event. No receipt in your inbox or spam folder within a few minutes? Write to phtalks@ptsecurity.com and we'll check.
If you have an invitation, open the link in it and press "I can't come" (the Telegram bot has the same button if you opened it from the invitation): your seat can then be offered to someone on the waitlist. No explanation needed. No invitation yet, or can't find the email? Write to phtalks@ptsecurity.com and we'll withdraw your application or release your seat.
Yourself and an ID — the venue is a hotel and the front desk may ask for it. Once your seat is confirmed, we will send you a QR code for entry before the event, in a separate email from another of our addresses: look for it in your spam folder too. Either way, you are on the list, and you can get in with the email you applied with. Everything else is on us.
Yes. A full lunch and coffee throughout the day are included, at no cost to you.
Talks are in English, and every stop has live translation into the local language with headsets provided at the venue.
Yes — we take photos and short videos for the recap. If you'd rather not be in them, tell the team at the registration desk and we'll respect it.
There will be no video streaming of the event, so come in person to enjoy all the benefits and have fun.
Yes — photos and highlight videos will be published shortly after the event. Full talk recordings and slide decks will be shared only for speakers who gave their consent.
We run these events around the world. Every new stop is announced on pt.community, and the host shares it on his channels too — his links are in the Positive Hack Talks Host block on this page.
